RULES FOR THE SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS<\/strong><\/h4>

Authors interested in participating in the 1st International Congress on Agri-Food Quality and the Environment must submit an abstract for evaluation and subsequent selection, in accordance with the following rules:<\/p>

  1. Extension<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

    The summary should have a maximum length 300 words<\/strong>, excluding title, authors and affiliations.<\/p>

    1. Language <\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

      Abstracts must be written in English.<\/p>

      1. Format<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

        Abstracts that do not conform to the established format will not be evaluated.<\/p>

        The use of the official template is compulsory for the preparation of the summary, which is available at the following website<\/p>

        for download on the congress website.<\/p>

        The text should be submitted in the following word format:<\/p>

        Font: Times New Roman<\/p>

        Size: 12 pt<\/p>

        Line spacing: single<\/p>

        Alignment: justified<\/p>

        Maximum length: one page, including references.<\/p>

        1. Content<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

          The summary should clearly include the following sections:<\/p>

          Introduction and objectives<\/p>

          Materials and methods<\/p>

          Main results<\/p>

          Conclusions<\/p>

          Bibliographical references<\/p>

          References should follow Vancouver style and be included within the one-page maximum limit set for the abstract.<\/p>

          1. Evaluation process<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

            All abstracts received will be subject to a review and selection process by the Scientific Committee of the congress, based on criteria of scientific quality, originality and suitability to the thematic lines of the congress.<\/p>

            1. Acceptance<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

              Acceptance of the abstract will entitle the author to present the paper in short communication or poster format, as determined by the Scientific Committee.<\/p>

              1. Signatories<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

                At least, the signatory author of the oral presentation must register on the conference website, as an attendee presenting a paper, and pay the registration fees.<\/p>

                The signatory in charge of the oral presentation of the paper will be responsible for uploading the abstract and the full text through his\/her profile on the conference website.<\/p>

                Only those authors who have previously registered on the congress website as \"attendees presenting a paper\" and who have also been registered as \"signing authors\" by the main author presenting the paper, through his\/her participant profile on the congress website, will be able to request the certificate of presentation of the paper at the congress.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

                RULES FOR THE SUBMISSION OF POSTERS<\/b><\/h4>

                Object:<\/strong><\/h4>

                \u00a0They will be displayed on monitors in the congress venue and will include relevant contributions to the theme of the congress in a graphic and synthetic way. They will also be the subject of discussion and debate in temporary spaces reserved for this purpose. Each participant may only present a single communication in poster format at the congress.<\/p>

                Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>

                The contents should be related to the objectives and thematic areas of the 1st International Congress on Agri-Food Quality and the Environment<\/strong>. The participant must previously submit an abstract of the work in poster format to be presented at the congress by the deadline indicated in the \u201cdates and deadlines\u201d section of the website. The Scientific Committee will be in charge of selecting the poster for the final presentation at the congress. If the work is not selected, the organisation will refund the registration fee to the participant. At least the author presenting the poster must be registered for the 1st International Congress on Agri-Food Quality and the Environment as an \u201cattendee with communication\u201d. Only the person who will present the poster at the congress and the signatory authors who have registered for the congress as \u201cparticipant with communication\u201d and who have subsequently been registered as \u201csignatories\u201d by the main communicator through their profile on the congress website can apply for a certificate of presentation of a paper at the congress. The text must be written in English, the poster presentation can be in Spanish or English.<\/p>

                Below is an informative document with the indications for the poster, as well as the template for its completion. These formatting instructions must be followed for the header; the rest of the poster is at the author's disposal.<\/p>

                \u00a0POSTER papers should be sent as .PDF files in order to facilitate their presentation, and the file weight should not exceed 100 Mb. Congress participants should be informed that the presentation of POSTER type communications will be in digital format, with the posters being available via QR access on the congress website, as well as in the exhibition hall for participants in the on-site modality, where touch screens will be available that will allow congress participants to view them in a sliding carousel mode. Therefore, it is NOT NECESSARY TO PRINT them.<\/p>

                Poster defence<\/strong><\/p>

                The defence of the poster must be carried out by the person registered at the congress who is listed as the first author of the paper.<\/p>

                The main author must be present during the official poster session, either online or in person, for the explanation and discussion of the work in front of the scientific committee and the audience.<\/p>

                The defence of the poster may take place in English or Spanish<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>
